Children's Author Event: Play Me, Please! by Gail Fulton-Anderson. In-Person
Join us to welcome first time children's book author, pianist, and teacher Gail Fulton-Anderson to the library to read her new story, Play Me, Please! The book is about an old piano who longs for someone to play him again. His wish comes true when a very special student (based on Sadie, a local North Kingstown girl) brings music to his classroom again!
After listening to the story, we'll hear a very special message from Sadie, get to talk with Gail and illustrator Elisha Gillette about the book, their writing and illustrating process, and more. Elisha will even demonstrate how to bring a storybook character to life!
You will have the chance to purchase a copy of the book and have it signed at the end of the program.
