Wickford was recently named the Best Historic Small Town in America by USA Today. Join Town Historian Tim Cranston on this walk that highlights some of Wickford's well preserved history. This walk touches upon the history of Wickford, the unique set of circumstances that allowed it to survive intact into the 21^st century, and the very specific aspects and historic events that make the village special. 

Please meet at the former Wickford Elementary School (next to the library). Feel free to park at the basketball court next to the playground or next to the school.
