Creating Habitats with 15 Minute Field Trips In-Person

Join Melissa with 15 Minute Field Trips as she goes over Creating Habitats

I will go over the 5 needs of wildlife (food, water, shelter, space, ability to reproduce) and make suggestions, such as trees for birds, host plants for butterflies, etc.  Each participant gets a cardboard base, a pack of clay in various colors, and an assortment of natural materials.  They will be encouraged to think of a real place they could modify, such as their backyard or a nearby park or school they could get the community involved in. This program is for ages 9+

This event will be held on the library lawn or in the meeting room, in case of rain.
